While building a miniature aquarium filled with a modest school of sharks may be no biggie, the prospect of creating an alternative climate in a residential home was new ground to be covered; Wolff Architects created an ice room as part of a spa in a Hampstead home.

In 2015 there were new restrictions put in place which limits the depth homeowners can go in crafting extensive basement floors and facilities. David Wolff discusses the implications of these restrictions, outlining that although the scale of projects is necessarily decreasing, the luxury features will not cease.
